YEREVAN. – Humanitarian cooperation development is of special value for Armenia and Russia, Russian Parliament Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said at a joint briefing with his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan on Tuesday.

The humanitarian component of Russian-Armenian relations is a good basis for developing cooperation in all fields.

“We are thankful to the President, the Government and the Parliament of Armenia for preserving and supporting the Russian in Armenia as a language of communication. The Russian language is taught both at schools and universities, as well as many books are published on Russian,” Naryshkin emphasized.
