A resident of the Nerkin Karmiraghbyur village of Armenia’s Tavush Region wounded by the Azerbaijani sniper is recovering.

Vache Melkumyan, was wounded by a bullet from the Azerbaijani positions on June 1. He was hospitalized with a thigh wound.

Melkumyan told reporters he was working in the vineyard when he was wounded. Then, he managed to crawl away and call for help.

The locals say any agriculture works are dangerous. “Last year we harvested the grapes at night,” Melkumyan ‘s wife emphasized.
