YEREVAN. – Upon the suggestion by Armenia’s Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan, the country’s Government adopted a decision Thursday toward facilitating the procedure for the foreign nationals’ being issued Rep. of Armenia passports.    

In line with the working procedure, if the citizen of another country applies for Rep. of Armenia citizenship, the respective passport is issued at the country’s Police Passport and Visa Department.  

But it was decided that these passports can now be issued likewise at Armenia’s diplomatic institutions abroad, namely, at its representations and consulates.
