YEREVAN. – A delegation, led by NATO Brigadier General Rob van Der Meier, was in Armenia, between Wednesday and Friday, on a working visit.
And Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received General van Der Meier on Thursday, MOD press service informs.
During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for experience exchange, the approaches toward the challenges facing modern medical services, adjusting of work methods, and carrying out effective cooperation between the Armenian Armed Forces’ Department of Military Medicine and the medical services of the armed forces of NATO member countries.
It was recorded that effective cooperation can be implemented between the Armenian Armed Forces’ Department of Military Medicine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands Armed Forces Military Medical Service, by way of making use of the opportunities for conducting professional training and holding joint military medical exercises and symposiums.
