YEREVAN. – A taxi driver was persuaded for as long as two hours not to commit a suicide in Yerevan on Saturday. 

The brother of the man who was about 40 years old was pledging him not to commit a suicide, eye-witnesses told Armenian News-NEWS.am. It is noteworthy that the man was already about to jump from the bridge at the same time when large crowd has been gathering. However, police, medical service employees, rescuers and citizens succeeded in persuading the man not to commit a suicide. Large crowd on the bridge caused a traffic jam. The man was taken to police, which later informed that it is Masis city resident 38-year-old Karen Mnatsakanyan.
