YEREVAN. – The difference between departures and arrivals from and in Armenia was negative from January to June this year as compared to the same period last year, Armenian National Statistical Service data informs.

Totally 822,149 people arrived, while 896,023 left Armenia in the first term of the year. This negative tendency is preserved in the last ten years. As a matter of fact, the difference between arrivals and departures was positive in June 4,300 people arrived, as compared to 2,000 people, who arrived last June. Overall 185,674 people arrived, while 181,334 people left. At the same time, arrivals-departures difference was negative on crossing border via train or vehicle, as opposed to plane.
