YEREVAN. – Total of 281,000 tourists arrived in Armenia in the first term of this year, which has been increased by 5.1 percent or by 11,000 visitors, as compared to the same period last year, Armenian National Statistical Service reports.

To note, the tourists’ arrivals were decreased by 9 percent during the first three months of this year, which is conditioned by the lack of Iranian tourists’ flaw.

Total of 302,000 people departed from Armenia, which has been increased by 9.3 percent or by 27,000 people, as compared to the first term of last year. 

Hence, the overall balance between departures and arrivals from and to Armenia makes 21,000 people.
