NATO is not ready for running military actions in Syria, due to the latter’s powerful air defense system, expert Alexander Khramchikhin said at a press conference. 

According to Khramchikhin, despite all expect military interventions to be resumed in Syria, it will not yet happen. He also stated that Syria has a very powerful air defense system, while the NATO Armed Forces are not ready to fight against it. Recalling the operation in Libya, the expert said that the whole Europe could offer only 100 jets, while the stock of ammunition ran out in three months.
