DAMASCUS. – Syrian Minister of Finance Mohammad al Jillati rejected rumors on his arrest spread by media outlets. Earlier the Al-Arabiya channel informed that Jillati was arrested on attempting to escape the state.

To note, the outlets claimed on Monday that the Syrian PM Riad Hijab was dismissed from the office. Later he was informed to be in Jordan, where he joined the opposition powers, Al Jazeera reported. The AP also informed quoting the aforesaid source that three other members of the Cabinet have escaped the state as well.
