Candlelight vigil commemorating Vahe Avetyan was held in Belgium in St. Mary Magdalen Armenian church.

The organizers issued a statement saying young Armenians of Belgium are concerned over the atmosphere of fear and impunity existing in Armenia.   

Candlelight vigils commemorating Vahe Avetyan’s 40th day of burial will be held in Los Angeles and in Yerevan.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, an incident had occurred at Yerevan’s Harsnaqar Restaurant on June 17, where several military doctors including Edgar Mikoyan, Arkadi Aghajanyan, Garik Soghomonyan, Artak Bayadyan and Vahe Avetyan were brutally beaten by Hayrapetyan’s security personnel. Vahe Avetyan died in hospital on June 29. The police have detained six people.
