YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Government has set on Thursday session that fireworks may take place between 11.00 p.m. and 01.00 a.m. next day in public places on the New Year Day according to the Armenian law. Fireworks may be shot also on holidays set by the law on Holidays and Remembrance Days of the Republic of Armenia again between 11.00 p.m. and 01.00 a.m. next day. Fireworks may be carried out by state bodies of Armenia, bodies of local and territorial management, as well as by the citizens (only on the New Year).
The executive body also changed one of its earlier decisions, providind with an opportunity to indulge in economic turnover the lands owned by the state allocated for maintenance and use by the public those buildings and structures which are again owned by the state. As a matter of fact, it should have unified approach and should provide for maximum public process, governmental press service informs.
