Turkey openly accused Syrian regime of supporting Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).  

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Bashar Al-Assad is arming Kurdish rebels. He noted that Turkish security service found PKK militants armed with Syrian weapons in Kobani and Afrin, cities in northern Syria, Lenta.ru reports referring to Reuters.

Earlier Turkish officials said they would not allow Kurdish rebels settle in the neighboring state. Moreover, Ankara threatened to bring troops to the territories where PKK will be active.

Relations between Syria and Turkey have deteriorated. Turkish officials are criticizing Assad and speak about possibility of military intervention in Syria if the PKK becomes a threat.
