YEREVAN.- Nomination of candidates for local self-government bodies continues in Armenia.

As of August 9, three candidates will run for the post of Masis Mayor. Among them are Republican Party’s Sasha Hakobyan, member of Prosperous Armenia, Masis vice mayor Karapet Ohanyan, nonpartisan Norayr Nahapetyan.

Four candidates are nominated in Vedi city: two representatives of the Republican Party - Varuzhan Barseghyan and Khachik Sahakyan, as well as two nonpartisan Nshan Zadoyan and Misak Simonyan.

The submission deadline expires at 6p.m. on August 10. The voting is scheduled for September.
