The Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II arrived in Ukraine on Monday to hold meetings with country’s leadership and representatives of the Armenian community.

During the visit to Chernivtsi city, Karekin II will meet with Minister of Culture Mikhail Kulinyak, chairman of the Ukrainian Armenians’ Union Vilen Shatvoryan, head of Chernivtsi regional administration.

Representatives of the Armenian community, residents of Chernivtsi and guests gathered to welcome the Armenian Catholicos, Analitika.at.ua reports.

His Holiness will hold a liturgy in the Armenian church within the framework of his visit.
