The Tax Justice Network (TJN) non-commercial organization made a report ‘The Price of Offshore Revisited.’ It discredits the theory about the trickled down wealth. According to the report, super-rich people have made $21 trillion to $32 trillion offshore in the world.

Among the Soviet Union States, Kazakhstan is in the top 20 of states, where super-rich people have made offshores in the amount of $138 billion. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, the latter with the $48 billion offshores, are the leaders in the Caucasus and the Central Asia. At the same time, Armenia’s super-rich people have made $2.2 billion offshores. An expert James Henry called the offshore capital a ‘black point,’ which deprives the state from much-needed tax revenue, EURASIANET reports. The data claim that the gap between the rich and the poor is wider than supposed to be before.
