YEREVAN.- Although Armenian national carrier Armavia refused to operate Sukhoi Super Jet-100 (SSJ-100), it owes about $4 million for the plane, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) told Prime agency.

“They have not paid about $4 million for the first aircraft, plus the payment for spare parts without warranties. They did not pay for the regular scheduled maintenance as well,” SCA said.

Earlier it was revealed that Russia’s Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Trade will look into the matter of Armavia’s refusal to operate Sukhoi Superjet-100.

Armavia refused continue operation of Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane as well as to buy a new one.
