The Dream Act, which allows illegal migrants having come to the United States as minors to stay in the country, will come into effect starting from Wednesday.

The program enables young undocumented immigrants apply for the temporary right to live and work openly the U.S.  

On Tuesday the application forms were posted online, The Washington Post reported.

The program is available to immigrants at the age 15 to 31 who were brought in the U.S. by their parents before they were 16 and did not leave the country for at least five years.

Earlier the Dream Act was supported by pro-Armenian California congressman Adam Schiff.
