An explosion took place outside a Damascus hotel where the UN mission observers are staying. Three people were reportedly injured. It is unclear whether the injured are members of the UN mission, information is being clarified.

According to Russian media, a bomb went off nearDama Rose Hotel, RIA Novosti reported.

The observation mission was sent to Syria in April. On July 20 UN Security Council extended observers’ mandate for 30 days. In late July the mission was reduced reaching 150.
