YEREVAN. – Armenian national carrier Armavia is unwilling to take the Russian Sukhoi SuperJet 100 from the repair, as the jet is economically not valuable, Armavia spokesperson Jasmine Vilyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to the Russian media outlets, the Civil Jets of the Sukhoi (CJS) has stated that the Armavia has not paid off the amount of $4 million for the first jet.
“The jet is at the CJS for over two months, and the company is unwilling to take it as it is economically non-valuable,’ Vilyan said.
As the CJS claims, the Armavia has made no official rejection regarding the first jet.
