GYUMRI. – The Gyumri city Mayor in Armenia’s Shirak Region Vardan Ghukasyan expressed readiness to cooperate with the Armenians having arrived from Syria. The mayor is ready to support those who would like to set up a business, purchase a building or a land to build a house. 

Additional details are available at the Deputy Mayor of Gyumri. To note, as the Armenian Ministry of Diaspora reports, over 2,500 Syrian-Armenians have arrived since early August, while their number may increase by another 500 to 600 people in the near future.
