WASHINGTON, DC. – The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) called upon former Massachusetts Governor and the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party for President of the United States, Mitt Romney, to present his views on Armenian-American issues, during a personal meeting with the Armenian community leaders, ANCA reported.
Earlier this week, ANCA made a similar call upon US President Barack Obama to personally introduce his administration’s policy with respect to Armenian-American matters of mutual interest.
To note, being State of Massachusetts Governor between 2003 and 2007, Mitt Romney had represented one of the largest and most active Armenian communities in the United States.
