BAKU. – The US will do its utmost to prevent a resumption of war in Nagorno-Karabakh, US Center for Strategic and International Studies analyst, Doctor Jeffrey Mankoff told Turan News Agency of Azerbaijan.

According to him, the possible consequences could be very serious for the relations of Russia and Turkey.  

“If the conflict resumes, the United States will face pressure from all sides, and it will search for quick ways to end it,” said Mankoff.    

He also noted that the US has several regional interests.

“We are trying to maintain stability and resolve conflicts, contribute to democratization, [and] solve geopolitical problems connected with energy and trade as well as with the regional powers, [namely], Russia, Turkey, and Iran,” Jeffrey Mankoff stated.
