Citizens of Armenia, Russia, and Tajikistan have lost their lives in the plane crash that occurred in Sudan.

The accident took place on August 19 at the mountains nearby Talodi, Sudan. The aircraft, which belonged to the Alpha 1 private airline company of Sudan, crashed while attempting to land at Talodi airport.

“According to the information by Russia’s Embassy in Sudan, the plane crew included citizens of Armenia, Russia, and Tajikistan,” Russian MFA official website informs.     

According to the MFA data, “31 people have lost their lives in the plane crash.”

It was informed earlier that a government delegation was in the airplane, and all passengers and crew members have died.  

To note, Armenian MFA has not yet confirmed the news about the death of Armenia’s citizen.
