TEHRAN. – The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will head to Iran to participate in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit, Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan said in an interview with Mehr agency. The 16th NAM summit is scheduled for Aug. 26 in Tehran.  “Armenia is an observer in the NAM, however, the country will participate in the summit of the member-states heads in Tehran,” the Ambassador said. The NAM is an international organization, including 120 countries on the principles of non-participation in military blocs. The NAM was established in 1961.
