make preferableYEREVAN. – Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry received information, on Friday at 4:02am, that a vehicle had fallen into a water canal at Ranchpar village of Ararat Region, the Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a VAZ 21011-model car had gone off road, for yet unknown reasons, near the intersection of the Ranchpar-Sis-Noramarg villages, and fallen into the Mughan Canal.
The vehicle was removed from the Canal by the use of a motor crane. The fire and rescue squad removed from the automobile the dead bodies of the driver—Mrgavet village resident Levon Khachatryan, 23—and the passenger—Arevabuyr village resident Artash Avetyan, 35—and handed them to ambulance service personnel.
