PASADENA. – Armenians held an event at the Armenian center in Pasadena to allocate money for the initiative “With Our Soldiers” by the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF), Asbarez reports. Declaring this year as the “Year of the Azadamardig” [freedom fighters], the event was one of many to assist veterans of the Nagorno-Karabakh [Artsakh] War with necessary medical treatments. Twenty freedom fighters have already been assisted in realizing various surgeries. Over 150 people gathered together, while allocation of money continued during the whole night. As a result, over $30,000 was allocated.
