YEREVAN. – “We welcome any format, any circumstances that will bring about [Armenian] PM Tigran Sargsyan’s dismissal,” Haykakan Zhamanak daily informs.

“Prosperous Armenia Party [PAP] Spokesperson, [National Assembly] NA PAP Faction MP Tigran Urikhanyan made such statement yesterday [Friday] to Haykakan Zhamanak, in response to the question as to whether the report on the performance of the 2011 [State] Budget could become an opportunity for the PM’s dismissal.

The report is already posted on the Parliament website and, during its fall session, the NA must either approve [it] or not. If the report is not approved, the matter of Government’s [vote of] no confidence arises.

Judging from the four parliamentary factions’ position with respect to the political course led by PM Tigran Sargsyan, these political forces will attempt to thwart the 2011 budget’s performance, and could result in the raising of the matter of voting no confidence to the Government,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
