YEREVAN. – It is not the first time that the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is making this statement, but, of course, we currently see no issue with respect to changing the Premier, ruling Republican Party (RPA) MP Karine Achemyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, commenting on PAP Spokesperson and MP Tigran Urikhanyan’s statement that they favor the changing of the head of the country’s Government.

“The Government is working very actively, and if we follow the economic indicators, [we would see that] the matter of the PM’s changing is not topical at present, and there is no such question in our party, too,” Achemyan noted, and added:

“Their [that is, the PAP’s] MPs and members make these statements on a regular basis, and therefore they themselves must be asked as to whom they see [as PM]. RPA has not examined the matter of changing the PM.”

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, “Our position with respect the Government’s head and program has not changed. We favor changing of the head of the Government [that is, of PM Tigran Sargsyan],” PAP Spokesperson and MP Tigran Urikhanyan stated during a press conference on Saturday.
