YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 410.34/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.

To note, the stock exchange saw no trading on August 24, and the American currency’s current exchange rate is a 0.2-percent—or a 0.84-point—increase from the previous trading session on August 23.

Monday’s sales totaled $900,000 at the stock exchange, and the dollar was cheaper at the end of the trading session than in the beginning. 

The American currency’s selling exchange rate rose somewhat, but the buying rate virtually remained unchanged in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The country’s exchange offices buy the dollar at AMD 408-409/$1 and sell it at AMD 411-412/$1.
