make preferableYEREVAN. – Armenia-based Environmental Public Alliance has sent a letter to the Minister of Natural Protection of Armenia Aram Harutyunyan demanding that GeoProMining Gold LLC must be punished for its intention to build a crushing and sorting complex plant in the Sotq gold mine.
The plant is being built without any documents, environmental expertise and the approval of the local community.
The letter is signed by the Alliance coordinator S. Adamyan. The Environmental Public Alliance consists of 45 NGOs pursuing environmental problems.
