YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will allocate AMD 137 million (approx. $335,020) for the renovation of Jermuk city’s bridge. A respective decision was reached during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting. 

The bridge was constructed in 1972 and it was last renovated in 2003. 

At present, and in line with the report presented by the Ministry of Territorial Administration, Jermuk’s bridge has become impassable.  

“The renovations must finish by the end of the winter season,” Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan said during the Cabinet session.
