Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani along the lines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit being held in Tehran, Azerbaijani MFA press service informs. 

During the meeting, Mammadyarov also reflected on the current state with respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In the minister’s words, Azerbaijan aims to take back from the Armenians the “Azerbaijani” territories which official Baku considers to be “occupied,” Rosbalt News Agency of Russia reports.       

“Azerbaijan will secure its territorial integrity sooner or later,” Elmar Mammadyarov stated during the discussion.
