PRAGUE. – Armenian Ambassador to Czech Republic and Slovakia Tigran Seyranyan has given an interview to the Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Asked why Czech Republic authorities has not responded yet to the Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov’s extradition and granting a pardon, the Ambassador said that Czech Republic and Azerbaijan are in close economic relations, while regarding Hungary, it is an old partner and ally for Czech Republic.
The Ambassador has met with the Czech Republic MFA official on Tuesday and the latter said that the MFA releases the following statement:
“Czech Republic’s MFA is deeply concerned about granting a pardon and making a hero of the Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov, while it will comment on the Hungarian authorities’ action after studying the issue in details.”
