OSLO. – The Norwegian side shares the OSCE Minsk Group (MG) Co-Chairs’ concerns on the occasion of the Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov’s extradition and granting a pardon by the Azerbaijani President, Norwegian FM Jonas Gahr Støre stated during the Nordic Baltic Eight (NB8) Foreign Ministers' meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Taking into account the fact that tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan was already huge and any step, which could have sharpened tension on the borders and hamper the efforts targeted at peace and reconciliation in the region, is sorrowful, the Minister has stated.
