YEREVAN. – Individual persons transferred $840 million to Armenia in the first six months of this year, Central Bank of Armenia reports.

Transfers grew up by 8.7 percent or $70 million as compared to the same period last year.

To note, the overall amount of the transfers made $1.28 billion last year.

Russia continues to be the key source of the transfers, while the US transfers made over $40 million, which has increased by $2 million as compared to the same period of last year. Transfers from other states do not make significant amount.
