YEREVAN. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan received on Monday the newly appointed Ambassador of the South African Republic Chupu Stanley Mathabatha (residence in Kiev) on the occasion of receiving the copies of his credentials.

The Minister Nalbandyan believes that his activity will be a new impetus for bilateral relations, ministerial press service reports. Besides, the Armenian side pays attention to the development of the relations with progressive African states, including the South African Republic.

The Ambassador Mathabatha assured that he will make any effort to develop and enlarge bilateral relations. The sides also touched upon the issues of activation of the political dialogue, development of legal field, economic, technical and scientific-educational cooperation.
