YEREVAN. – The Republic of South Africa’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday.

President Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming this office and expressed a hope that, with joint efforts, a progress will be registered in strengthening bilateral cooperation, the President’s Press Office informs.

In his turn, Ambassador Mathabatha noted that he will do his utmost to use his term in office effectively and to contribute to the development of interaction between Armenia and South Africa.   

The interlocutors discussed bilateral collaboration and cooperation within international organizations, and also reflected on regional and international matters.
