YEREVAN.- Aleppo Armenians wounded in a road shelling are recovering.

Zhirayr Resian, spokesperson for the Armenian Church’s Beria Prelacy, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that 14 people were affected in shelling. Two of them have been discharged from hospital. All the affected passengers of the car are Armenians, except for the driver who is non-Armenian Christian.

As reported earlier another four Armenians - Harout Soulavian, Mesrob Adjemian, Arsen Pepedjian and Hratch Pepedjian - were caught under crossfire and subsequently killed Tuesday evening while heading to Aleppo from the city’s airport. The death toll among Armenians is close to 20.

To note, around 60,000 Armenians live in Syria, and great majority of them reside in Aleppo and Damascus.
