YEREVAN. – Researches of Armenia’s Healthcare Ministry and statistical reports show that there are no health deviations in the health condition of the residents who live near mining areas and those who live in other regions, Armenia’s Healthcare Minister Derenik Dumanyan said in the Parliament on Wednesday commenting on the question by the opposition Armenian National Congress group MP Lyudmila Sargsyan. In response, Sargsyan stated that it would be better if the Healthcare Minister cooperated with environmental organizations, which are in contact with residents of those areas and know better the situation in the mining areas.
