YEREVAN. – According to the researchers, the average annual flow of the Armenian migrants from the state made 20,000 to 25,000 in recent 10 years, Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan said in the Parliament on Wednesday replying to the question by the ruling Republican Party MP Margarit Yesayan. The MP has asked to provide precise number of people who left Armenia, as it has been speculated by the opposition. However, Gevorgyan said he cannot mention precise numbers as there is a methodological problem. The only sources from which information is reported include the people leaving Armenia by planes (airports) and those leaving state from Bavra and Bagratashen checkpoints. At the same time, it is very difficult to methodologically estimate the percentage of migrants in all those flows. Deputy PM also added that a working group was established to provide precise numbers in the near future.
