YEREVAN. – The Armenian Government every year reduces the number of seats in the higher educational institutions, which allow a deferment of military service, Armenian MOD Seyran Ohanyan said in the Parliament on Wednesday commenting on the Prosperous Armenia Party group MP Vahe Enfiajyan's question, whether the authorities follow those students who do PhD and enjoy the deferments of military service. “Most places are cut to the minimum. During any mobilization period, the Military prosecution checks the process,” Ohanyan stressed. The MOD also stated the importance of the issue and that the government may do much on the issue.
