In the course of his Moscow visit, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations on Turkish foreign policy.

According to Turkish Zaman daily, commenting on relations with Armenia, Erdogan underlined that his country makes significant steps to normalize the relations. “Protocols signed in Zurich prove this. On the other hand, I deem that &‘occupation’ of Azerbaijani territories should end. It is very crucial to find a viable solution to Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and Minsk Group’s role is of immense significance from this viewpoint. Karabakh issue was not settled within 20 years. I believe that Russia might be very active and become the major actor. It is one of the main goals of my visit to Moscow. UN resolution says that there is an &‘occupation’. Early and just solution to the problem should be found. I believe that Armenia-Turkey relations will be normalized in a more positive way,” Premier said.
