STEPANAKERT. – Under the Article 68 point 4 of the Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] Constitution, President Bako Sahakyan signed on Friday a decree appointing Ara Harutunyan as the Karabakh Prime Minister.

According to the decree, the newly appointed Karabakh PM was instructed to submit to the President a proposal on the staff of the government within twenty days, Artsakh presidential press service reports.

To note, on the same day Artsakh National Assembly convened a special session and unanimously approved Ara Harutyunyan’s nomination to the office of Karabakh Prime Minister.
