A total of four-hundred company employees took part in the event, and forty employees from twelve branches competed in the final. The workers competed in chess, table tennis, and backgammon.

“These competitions are being held for already seven years. This is a wonderful opportunity for our large staff members to get to know one another better,” ENA General Manager Yevgeny Bibin stated, and added that ENA members are winning prizes in CIS international competitions as well.

At the end of competitions, Armenian National Olympic Committee Vice Chairman Derenik Gabrielyan handed a certificate of gratitude to Yevgeny Bibin.

Armenian Chess Federation Vice President Smbat Lputyan and World Chess Olympiad champion, Grandmaster Tigran Petrosian were on hand during the chess competitions.

“This competition encourages me very much; the collective is becoming a family. In addition, this contributes to the popularization of chess,” Lputyan noted.

At the end of the chess competition, Tigran Petrosian held a simultaneous chess match with the teams.

Members of the competitions’ winning teams also won a five-day vacation in Tsaghkadzor, and together with their family members. The events’ youngest and oldest participants likewise received prizes.
