PARIS. – Azerbaijan’s president Ilham Aliyev arrived in Paris on a working visit.

It was reported earlier that Aliyev will encounter a “special hospitality” in the French capital. Specifically, the French Armenians will “welcome” the Azerbaijani leader with a populous protest demonstration.

The rally will be held across the Azerbaijani Embassy in France, Armenian National Congress (ANC)  France Executive Director Hratch Varjabedian stated. The protesters will not only raise their voices against Ramil Safarov’s extradition and ensuing pardon, but they also will speak against Azerbaijan’s policy conducted with respect to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

In Varjabedian’s words, the demonstrators will also protest the French government, which has allowed entry into the country for a president who makes a hero out of a murderer.

French politicians, NGO representatives, and those who are discontent with Aliyev’s actions and policies will join the demonstration.
