YEREVAN. – Armenia registered 2,596 cases of various types of poisoning for the period of January 1 till September 11 of this year.

156 cases of food poisoning, 834 cases of alcohol and 574 cases of drug poisoning were registered for the aforesaid period, Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As a result of the poisonings, 36 people died, including 3 of food, 3 of drug and 2 of alcohol poisoning. Besides, 180 people suffered from food, 832 people from alcohol and 571 people from drug poisoning.
