Inaugural session of the Armenian Genocide 100th Anniversary Regional Coordination Committee of Canada was convened on September 16. 

Representatives from the traditional Armenian parties, community organizations, and members of the Armenian clergy functioning in Canada attended the event.   

During the inaugural session, the participants discussed the Committee’s main challenges, numerous suggestions were made on organizing the remembrance events, and a corresponding regulatory board was formed.
