YEREVAN. – The American dollar continues to lose value against the Armenian dram (AMD) in Armenia’s financial market.   

The US currency’s average exchange rate against the dram comprised AMD 406.54/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday, and this is a 0.24-percent—or a 0.99-point—drop from the previous trading session.

Wednesday’s sales totaled $8 million at the stock exchange.

The dollar’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 404/$1, in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is sold already at AMD 408/$1, but the more prevalent selling exchange rate is AMD 409/$1.
