YEREVAN. - Armenian and Russian Defense Ministers – Seyran Ohanyan and Anatoly Serdyukov – discussed the issues related to deepening of cooperation during their meeting in Yerevan.

Talking to journalists on Wednesday, Ohanyan said the visit of his counterpart was held according to the 2012 cooperation plan between Armenia and Russia.

Minister Ohanyan added that his Russian counterpart’s visit will give an impetus to development of bilateral relations, deepening the bilateral ties as well as security in Armenia and the entire region.

During the talks, Ministers discussed a number of issues related to regional and international security, bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, development of legal basis of Russian #102 military base in Armenia.
