ETCHMIADZIN.- Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin hosted a meeting of inter-church and theological council on Wednesday to discuss issues related to inter-church relations.

The council issued a statement condemning “Innocence of Muslims” film which provoked religious intolerance in several states.

“Such a provocative move must be condemned as it is not contributing to religious tolerance and creation of atmosphere of peaceful coexistence,” the council said in a statement.

The movie provoked numerous actions of protest and uprising in the Muslim states.
